The Opportunity:
The Marketing Manager of Innovation plays a critical role in supporting the Director, New Platform Innovation by developing and executing marketing strategies for disruptive product innovations. This position focuses on leveraging consumer insights, market trends, and strategic goals into actionable initiatives that drive the success of new innovation platforms. With an entrepreneurial spirit and a growth mindset, the Marketing Manager fosters creativity and agility in addressing emerging opportunities, ensuring alignment with brand objectives while creating excitement and adoption for new offerings. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful and sustainable market growth.

Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:
- Innovation Platform Marketing Strategy: Collaborate on creating and executing marketing strategies for new innovation platforms to ensure successful market entry and growth.
- Consumer Research & Insights Integration: Direct marketing research efforts to understand consumer needs, ensuring innovation concepts are culturally relevant and resonate with target audiences.
- Go-To-Market Execution: Develop and manage the launch plans for new products, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Trend Monitoring & Reporting: Track and report on emerging food and consumer trends to influence future innovation opportunities.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, R&D, and sales to bring innovations to market, while ensuring seamless handoffs from ideation to commercialization.
- Metrics & Performance Monitoring: Track the success of marketing initiatives and report progress to the Director and senior leadership
What You’ll Bring:
- 3-5 years in marketing, preferably within CPG or food industries
- Category management (4Ps)
- P&L ownership
- Market research and developing data-driven marketing campaigns.
- Strong marketing acumen with demonstrated success in executing go-to-market strategies in launching innovative products
- Expertise in consumer insights and trend analysis
- Strategic thinking with excellent product management skills
- Entrepreneurial and Growth mindset
- General MLF Marketing competencies:
- Commercial Acumen - Solid understanding of key drivers of marketing, brand management, and the P&L and ability to leverage them to identify and execute changes to move the business forward.
