The Opportunity

Reporting to the Director of Commercial Planning and Execution, the Commercial Execution Associate will be accountable to support the end-to-end execution of Commercial Renovation initiatives, partnering and coordinating efforts with Marketing Managers and an extended group of x-functional subject matter experts.  The incumbent will execute projects using prescribed project management methodology, standards, tools and processes.  It will require a keen leader who understands the importance of executing with excellence, is collaborative, assertive, process oriented with a focus on continuous improvement

A snapshot of some of the exciting things you will lead and do: 

  • Responsible for Coordinating, Planning & Executing activities related to Commercial Renovation projects (eg graphic changes)
  • Leads cross-functional execution teams to ensure projects are executed with excellence “Right First Time” using prescribed project management methodologies, SAP RD systems and tools
  • Communicates key critical path dates to all stakeholders ensuring each milestone is clearly defined (including Marketing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Purchasing, R&D, Regulatory and Graphics)
  • Understands time sensitive requirements of projects, minimizing delays to critical path activities, working to resolve issues as they are identified and brings forth resolutions
  • Works closely with cross-functional partners to drive engagement, maintain accountability, and ensures ongoing alignment within the commercial teams
  • Is well versed with our stage and gate (PDP) process and requirements, and provides support to Project Leads throughout the process
  • Ensures changes to launch timelines are effectively communicated to all stakeholders and identifies impact of such
  • Monitors and reports progress against initiatives, providing updates to working team, visibility to metrics and executive teams on an ongoing basis
  • Supports the Commercial Execution Managers with ad-hoc project management activities, reporting and analytics as well as continuous improvement
  • Applies thought leadership and judgement to enable fact based and nimble decision making

What you will bring:

  • 3+ years relevant experience in commercial execution and project management
  • PMP Certification a plus
  • Understanding of regulatory, packaging graphics and SAP RD processes an asset
  • Problem solving orientation
  • Demonstrated ability to forge/cultivate strong cross-functional relationships
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to progress on multiple priorities concurrently while navigating evolving circumstances
  • Strategic Thinker – the ability to understand the big picture, exercise solid business judgement
