Customer Fulfillment Analyst

Mississauga - Financial Dr., ON

Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:

  • Serve as a point of contact for customers on all day-to-day supply chain activities, including order management and inventory status updates
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Maple Leaf Foods (Customer Supply Chain, Transportation, Supply Planning, etc.) to proactively plan and coordinate supply chain activities, resolve issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with the Demand Planner to co-lead the collaborative supply chain process, with shared responsibility for executing the agreed-upon customer demand plan.
  • Monitor key promotional activities and work to mitigate execution risks in partnership with customer
  • Leverage insights from customer replenishment systems and processes to drive continuous improvement in service levels and efficiency.
  • Serve as the escalation point for significant product shortages, working closely with the customer to resolve any short-term availability disruptions.
  • Ensure strong performance across in-stock, weeks-of-supply, and inventory health metrics at both retail and warehouse levels, while actively preventing aged inventory.
  • Collaborate with the customer’s supply chain or replenishment team to support the successful execution of new item launches and product delists.
  • Participate in Customer Fulfilment and cross-functional meetings to create and execute weekly and monthly Customer reporting and presentations.
  • Assess the impact of customer policies related to supplier performance, particularly in areas such as compliance or fine programs, and drive action plans to improve performance where needed.
  • Support fulfillment team members as it relates to customer specific inquiries and order processing.
  • Compile and maintain value-added scorecards tracking key supply chain metrics (e.g., fill rate, unitization, collaboration, shelf life, fines), and lead efforts to improve on-time, in-full delivery, reduce waste, and lower cost-to-serve.
  • Analyze customer inventory levels, outbound fill rates, and other supply chain KPIs to provide strategic insights and actionable recommendations as a trusted advisor.
  • Identify and escalate concerns related to excess inventory, partnering with Sales to develop and execute effective sell-through plans.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, which may include transactional or operational support as needed.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an analyst role (preferably Supply Chain related, in a Consumer-Packaged   Goods or health sciences company)
  • Undergraduate degree or college diploma (preference in a related field)
  • Strong alignment with Maple Leaf Values
  • Effective Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
  • Effective influencing skills at various levels within the organization and externally
  • Demonstrates a perspective and knowledge base that spans across functional areas. Thorough understanding of Customer Supply Chain and Sales/Commercial organization strategies and policies.
  • Constantly searching for and driving towards best practices.  Views challenges as opportunities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Strong presentation skills
  • ERP experience (SAP experience is considered an asset)
  • Power BI experience is considered an asset
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
