The Opportunity:
You'll be on the frontlines of creating and executing our strategies alongside a talented team to drive growth and shape the future of our US business. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Director, ML USA, this individual will play a pivotal role in the strategic review and planning process for the US business across Plant Protein and Prepared Meat categories. This involves harnessing insights to uncover market opportunities, and crafting strategies that are centered on meeting consumer needs. This individual will work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams in planning and implementation of growth initiatives, Brand Marketing to create impactful campaigns, and Sales to shape channel development strategies, while remaining agile to the evolving dynamics of the US business and categories. The ideal candidate for this role is a well-rounded individual, equipped with a strong business acumen and a consumer-oriented marketing leadership style. Additionally, they will have a bias for action and can showcase a proven ability to efficiently accomplish tasks, all in alignment with the goal of achieving profitable growth.

Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:
- Deliver against brand and category financial goals, managing both top and bottom line
- Formulate and champion marketing strategies designed to achieve category objectives, foster channel growth, and attain market share targets
- Continuously monitor market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape to provide real-time insights that can inform marketing strategies and product development decisions
- Work in partnership with the Sales team to build and execute specific customer strategies and tactics, support Sales in bringing our category strategies to life for customers
- Collaborate closely with teams in Research & Development, Revenue Management, Finance, CSD, Supply Chain, and Operations to inform decisions that drive achievement of in-year goals and lay the foundation for future growth plans
- Lead end-to-end commercialization of new product development, innovation and renovation from consumer-centric concept generation through to in-market execution.
- Partner with the Retail Sales and Brand teams to grow MLF branded share in their category
- Take charge of the annual strategic business reviews and planning processes for the category, while supporting other regular business rhythms
- Other various activities to support the growth initiatives of the company

- Communication & Teamwork – Exhibit exceptional teamwork, with well-developed people and communication skills demonstrated through a proven ability to successfully navigate and influence a complex organization
Qualifications and Experience
- BS/BA in Marketing/Business or related field; MBA preferred
- Progressive 4-6 year experience in CPG brand or general management
- Experience working with syndicated data sources such as SPINS, IRI, Nielsen preferred
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office, specifically PowerPoint and Excel
- Previous experience with P&Ls and PowerBI an asset
