MRO Coordinator

Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:

  • Champion a positive, people-focused culture aligned with leadership values.
  • Collaborate with the MRO team to maintain optimal stock levels of critical spare parts.
  • Perform cycle counts, reconcile physical inventory with SAP, and address discrepancies.
  • Create, organize, and maintain bin locations—both physically and in SAP.
  • Ensure required parts are available by working closely with the Planner and processing returns as needed.
  • Manage receiving and issuing processes, verifying materials against POs and resolving issues with Purchasing.
  • Track all spare parts (new, used, refurbished, broken) in SAP and follow repair, refurbishment, and disposal processes.
  • Kit and stage parts for scheduled work, review kits with stakeholders, and maintain consumable stock levels.
  • Maintain accurate vendor information, process material requests, and support Materials/Inventory Management improvements.
  • Promote safety, food safety, and environmental compliance while contributing to continuous improvement across Maintenance and the stockroom.
Safety & Facility Standards
  • Ensure safe handling of chemicals, lubricants, and equipment following OSHA and plant safety guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and audit ready MRO to prevent contamination and support food safety compliance.
  • Participate in safety meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
Working Conditions
  • Mix of office, and plant floor environments.
  • Exposure to cold, wet, or humid food processing areas.
  • Occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, and use of ladders.
  • Standard work hours with potential for overtime during shutdowns or major projects.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Strong organizational, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read technical documentation (equipment manuals, part drawings, BOMs).
  • Effective communication and vendor negotiation skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively with maintenance, QA, sanitation, and production teams.
