Sanitation Worker

This position will be responsible for ensuring a clean and food safe environment in conjunction with specific SOP’s developed by FSQA.

Shift times will be Monday - Friday, 10:00pm - 6:30am

  • Daily sanitation of raw meat packaging, secondary packaging, and tote rinse areas.
  • Daily sanitation of mobile equipment such as vats and carts.
  • Daily assembly and disassembly of equipment
  • Non-daily cleaning of various areas.
  • Reports any incident or situation that might affect production to the Supervisor.
  • ​Other duties as assigned.


  • Has to focus/concentrate while performing the job.

  • Accurate documentation and preparation of sanitation inspection reports.

  • Has to do simple math or calculations

  • Basic Computer Proficiency.

  • WHMIS Training

  • Confined Space Training as required.


  • Standing and walking around for extended periods of time.

  • Repetitive movement of hands when performing the job.

  • Ability to climb over and under equipment to wash.

Fast-paced, cold and wet environment; strong smells like cleaning and caustic 
solutions, blood products and raw meat.
SPECIFICATIONS (Skills/Qualifications/Other Requirements):

  • Willing to be trained to do the job.

  • Has the ability to do the job.

  • Must be physically fit.

  • Good hand and eye coordination.

  • Good interpersonal skills.

  • Good communication skills. (reading, writing and speaking English)

  • Ability to read and interpret Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Good mathematics skills.

  • Good work ethics and over-all attitude.
