HR Generalist

 The Opportunity:

As the HR Generalist, you'll play a vital role in supporting various HR functions across the organization, working closely with departments such as talent acquisition, employee relations, and compensation to ensure seamless HR operations. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including onboarding new hires, managing employee benefits, supporting performance management processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws. You'll also collaborate with department leaders to address employee concerns, support development initiatives, and contribute to maintaining a positive work culture.

Schedule and Pay:
  • $78,500.00- $86,000.00 Annually, DOE
  • Monday- Friday with possible additional hours and weekend shifts

Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:

  • Develop and lead the orientation and onboarding processes for both hourly and salaried employees to support retention initiatives
  • Ensure personnel files and documentation are complete and compliant with Federal and State laws
  • Ensure people movement (new hires, voluntary and involuntary terminations, promotions, transfers etc.) is accurately executed in the HRIS systems
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; productivity, recognition, and morale; and training and development
  • Responsible for leading and implementing the hiring activities for the hourly staff – recruitment/prescreening/selection
  • Work with a variety different HRIS systems including but not limited to SAP, Kronos, ADP, Navigator, SuccessFactors and Alchemy
  • Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring:

  • 3-5  years’ experience in Human Resources preferred
  • Ability to build and leverage relationships and thrive in a dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated pattern of continuous self-development in Human Resource compliance, education, trends and practices
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Proficient with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Strong problem solving, initiative and teamwork skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities by applying strong time-management/organizational skills
  • Consistent demonstration of leadership values and behaviors
  • Demonstrated success and experience in consulting with leaders on complex HR issues
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation abilities
  • Exceptional communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and influencing skills across all organizational levels
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
