The Opportunity

 The National Field Sales Analyst will be responsible for developing and providing analysis on key metrics such as Nielsen, POS, Volume reporting and display data. This high energy individual will also be providing the National Communication Manager with detailed performance results and doing deep analysis using our new field sales MIQ platform.

A snapshot of some of the exciting things you will lead and do: 

  • Set-up audits and closing the gap on the iPad and sharing results with the team
  • Set-up targets for all display contest and providing the team with a weekly tracker
  • Provide the team with store data POS information for WM, LCL, Sobeys, FCL, Overwaitea and Metro
  • Work with the insights team to provide the field sales team with Fast Facts and other category specific data
  • Provide a monthly coverage report
  • Responsible for new innovation set up, targets, communication, reports and scorecards
  • Provide monthly performance report on the total branded business
  • Provide the regional directors with monthly report for regional specific contests.
  • Provide all the data for POS Scorecard, Zero Sales, and Top 20
  • Provide data and analysis on distribution, innovation, and POS
  • Create and maintain the RFE scorecard
  • Share data using Power BI and new MIQ platform

What you will bring:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role within CPG
  • Required University Undergrad degree
  • Travel (2 regional meetings per year) will be required
  • Should have prior sales experience or equivalent as well as an understanding of our business
  • Extremely organized with the ability to multi-task effectively
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced demanding and changing environment
  • Ability to operate effectively in a team setting
  • Able to make informed decisions and work independently
  • Fact-based and detail oriented
  • Ability to take direction
  • Strong oral, written and presentation skills with the ability to facilitate, create, and drive change.
  • Mastery of the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word & PowerPoint to drive communication to internal & external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in SAP an asset
  • Proficient in Nielsen
  • Strong knowledge of Power BI an asset
