The Opportunity

As a key member of the Prepared Meats Marketing team, the Marketing Manager will lead the commercialization of meal solutions and ham, providing expert knowledge of brand and consumers interactions, channel development and consumer communications campaigns with a diverse product portfolio.

A snapshot of some of the exciting things you will lead and do: 

  • Develop marketing plans that achieve brand strategy, channel growth and share targets
  • Responsible for the complete financial management and targets of the entire category on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Execute highly important innovation and product strategies
  • Work closely with Sales to understand and execute against specific customer strategies or tactics
  • Responsible for category specific brand management and communication
  • Lead the annual business reviews & planning process 
  • Coach colleague performance, skill development and achievement of professional aspirations

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus track record of results within a CPG environment.
  • Must be proactive and performance driven, have a bias for action and be able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • Experience managing a large complex business with a proven success in market with brand management.
  • A strong team player, mentor and coach cross-functional team members with well-developed “people interaction” skill set.
  • The ability to adapt easily to changing market dynamics.
  • Competency requirements:
    • Commercial Acumen– 4Ps, 3Cs, Brand and P&L (Functional Expertise)  Understand key drivers of Marketing and the P&L and leverage them to identify and execute changes to move the business forward. 
    • Communication Skills – Able to effectively communicate consistently with a variety of audiences to achieve desired outcomes.
    • Leadership and Influence (Interpersonal Skills)  – Able to stay focused on driving key business priorities in a dynamic business environment.
    • Agility & Effectiveness (Managerial Skills)  – Skilled in mobilizing and managing teams to achieve commercial objectives.
    • Critical Thinking, Insights & Strategic Leadership (Strategic Skills)  – Big picture thinking with an ability to clearly articulate a strategic direction, justified with sound fact based rationale through insight and analysis.
