Sr. Analyst, Supply Planning

 The Opportunity:

Join our Supply Planning team as a Senior Analyst Supply Planning, where you’ll take ownership of National Fresh Poultry Supply Planning, IQF Planning, and Raw Material movement to our Further Processing (FPP) plants.  In this highly visible role, you will work cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to optimize raw materials, manage capacity, and support business growth. This position offers strong exposure to leadership and the opportunity to build advanced supply chain expertise in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:

  • Lead Fresh Supply Planning nationally, ensuring Raw Materials and Plant Capacity are optimized Nationally.
  • Build short- and long-term IQF supply plans that meet customer demand while optimizing raw material utilization and plant capacity.  Plan raw material movement to FPP plants, coordinating with operations to maximize efficiency.
  • Evaluate and approve incremental demand requests including features, new product launches, and new business opportunities.
  • Provide recommendations for S&OP planning by reviewing feature submissions against available raw materials and capacity.
  • Maintain and communicate the supply availability grid, ensuring clear visibility across stakeholders.
  • Collaborate weekly with Plant Operations, Production Planning, and Live Supply Planning to align supply plans and integrate feedback.
  • Analyze and report on key supply chain metrics, providing insights and adjustments to improve results.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Consistently achieve Budget commitments, Fill Rates, and optimized Raw Material/Capacity utilization.
  • Deliver clear, well-communicated supply plans aligned with Operations and Production Planning.
  • Develop strong cross-functional partnerships and a trusted resource for supply availability and capability planning.
  • Strengthen leadership and business management skills through visible, impactful contributions.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in a supply chain, demand planning, or production planning role.
  • Post-secondary education in a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; comfortable learning and adopting new planning tools.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain processes and ability to collaborate across Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Manufacturing/Operations.
  • Curiosity and initiative to analyze business trends and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Disciplined decision-making with accountability, resilience, and a growth mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to express complex information clearly and persuasively.
