FSQA Culture Lab Technician
📍 Indianapolis, IN | 💵 $21.50/hour | 🕡 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Monday to Friday)

Greenleaf Foods is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated FSQA Culture Lab Technician to support our Food Safety and Quality Assurance team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing cultures used in manufacturing, conducting sample testing, maintaining lab records, and ensuring our operations meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cultures for use in food manufacturing

• Perform and accurately report lab testing and analysis

• Conduct internal audits to support regulatory and quality compliance

• Calibrate and maintain lab equipment

• Maintain lab cleanliness and inventory using SAP

• Support FSQA duties such as product inspections, GMP monitoring, and label verification

• Assist with investigations, non-conformances, and continuous improvement projects

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in food science, biology, life sciences or 2+ years related experience

• Familiarity with laboratory procedures and GMP standards

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; SAP experience an asset

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Food industry experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly

• Must be able to perform visual inspections and use sensory testing
